Maria Adelaide Clemente

Main Research Interests

My main research interests are in situ and ex situ plant conservation and restoration; to develop methodologies to overcome seed dormancy and improve the management of seed bank collections; to characterise and understand species specific differences in seed longevities under dry storage conditions; to enhance germination of native species in restoration programmes.

Academic Qualifications

- 2003 PhD in Biology (Ecology and Biosystematics, University of Lisbon)

- 1991 5-year college graduation in Biology (University of Lisbon)
