Main Research Interests
My main research interest is in Nature-Society Interactions. Applied research on surface water management and on land use conflicts within conservation areas. Mediterranean Streams Management with a focus on social-ecological systems. Interdisciplinary integration of approaches and methodologies from natural and social sciences. Transdisciplinary integration of different types of knowledge and approaches from lay people and experts.
