Main Research Interests

My main research interests are Developmental Biology and Cell Biology, in particular, the use of in vitro model systems to study the cellular basis of the processes involved in the formation and differentiation of the somites in chicken embryos and myogenesis in the mouse embryo; Stem Cell Biology and the regulation of cell fate decisions during development.
