Nuno Rainha

Main Research Interests

Current PhD student in Biology at the University of Lisbon, with a background in Physics and Chemistry. The main focus is the relationship between nutrition and soil microbiology in plant physiology. Special attention is given to the effects of soil composition and microbiology on flower induction in pineapple plants.
The approach is highly multidisciplinary, including classical techniques as well as analytical chemistry, molecular biology techniques and enzymatic kinetics.
