Pedro Pinho

Main Research Interests

I am graduated in Biology, MSc in Geographical Information Systems and PhD on Biology- Ecology. I have worked in lichen biodiversity, ecology and ecophysiology focusing in the response of lichens to environmental changes, with both natural and human origin, and used lichens as biomonitors of environmental changes in several scenarios of global change. I am also interested in considering the spatial characteristics of ecological data, namely the distribution pattern of biological and environmental variables and the influence of the landscape on the biological patterns.
