Main Research Interests

My main research interests are 1) Invasion Ecology - assessment of the impacts of exotic species on native herpetofauna, in one-species or multi-species systems, with the main focus in freshwater ecosystems; 2) Cork-oak woodland ecology - ecological interactions; natural regeneration of native oaks; cork-oak woodland management and its effects on amphibians and reptiles.

Academic Qualifications

- 2002 PhD in Biology - Ecology and Biosystematics ( University of Lisbon)
